It is now that time of the year where you will be receiving all kinds of various tax information in order to prepare your 2011 tax return.  What do you do with all of this information?  The best thing to do is to stack it all in one location or place it in a file folder.  That way you have all the information in one place for when you go to prepare your tax return.

When you receive your W-2, 1099’s, and other tax information, it is always a good idea to double check your Social Security number.  You may find that it is sometimes incorrect.  If it is, contact the provider of the W-2, or whatever form you received, and request that they update your Social Security number.
